Leeanne Almond, LCSW, is a Mental Health Therapist with a calling to help individuals and families navigate through mental health and wellness, as well as life after trauma. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as trauma, crisis, anxiety, PTSD, abuse recovery.
Leeanne holds a Master’s in Social Work—specializing in Children and Families—from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from West Texas A&M University. Her professional journey includes more than 1,600 forensic interviews conducted during her time as a Forensic Interviewer at The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center. She has also served vulnerable student populations as a Mental Health Therapist in Amarillo ISD’s McKinney-Vento program and as a Related Services Counselor in Canyon ISD.
This experience has shaped her belief that every person has the inner strength to heal — often just needing the right support to identify the heart of the issue. Leeanne is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and empowered — a space where healing can truly begin.
In addition to her clinical work, Leeanne is committed to advancing trauma-informed care across communities. She regularly educates professionals on child abuse, trauma, and resilience, equipping others to recognize, respond to, and support those affected by trauma with empathy and expertise.
Leeanne believes that healing is not only possible — it’s transformative. Her work is driven by the belief that with the right support, individuals can reclaim peace, purpose, and power in their lives.
