About Tiffany

Tiffany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology from Texas State University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, and she spent her first fourteen years of clinical social work working with children and families in a residential care setting.  Tiffany has over 19 years of experience in treating trauma and attachment wounds, and she believes that a person’s intrauterine experience and history of adverse events and/or stressors can shape one's life – creating unwanted physical sensations, emotions, depression, anxiety, and trouble building and sustaining healthy relationships with others.  She is trained in EMDR therapy and uses EMDR as a tool to aid in decreasing stressful feelings and experiences and has specialized training and experience to facilitate EMDR with children and is equipped to help children process trauma in a way they can understand, even when they don’t have the cognitive ability to explain their experience.  Tiffany enjoys working with all ages and has experience with

family counseling; she has years of training in Dr. Perry's NMT and Dr. Purvys’s TBRI.  In addition, Tiffany has experience working with adults, first responders, and couples, and she treats issues related to, but not limited to, attachment, PTSD, Complex PTSD, adoption, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, self-esteem, and abuse.  Tiffany believes we were all made to live in community and connection and is excited to work with you!

 
In her spare time, Tiffany loves spending time with her husband, son, and two

dogs.  On the weekends, she can often be found at an ice hockey rink somewhere in Texas, watching her son play competitive travel ice hockey.
