About Laci

Laci Unruh has a wide range of counseling experience in her 13 years of practice.  She graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, Education, and Math.  She taught for five years in the public school system, while attending Wayland Baptist University, obtaining her Master's in Art of Counseling and School Counseling.  After graduating with her Masters, Laci continued her work in the public school system for 11 more years as a School Crisis Counselor and School Counselor.  She now works as the Director of Counseling at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

Laci's gifts in counseling fall in the areas of self esteem & confidence, stress & anxiety, trauma, and abuse.  Her counseling style is to create a safe place, where clients can be their most authentic self, and allow for an environment that promotes self-care and a place to grow and work through life struggles with no judgment.  Laci believes in using a Humanistic approach that is Client Centered and Mindful. She works to individualize each session, meeting the needs of each individual.
